Stampboard with Bling...

I started this piece at camp and finally got around to finishing it this weekend. I used alcohol inks on the Stampboard and then stamped it with my Tattered Angels 'Compass' stamp - which is huge! When it was dry, I dipped it into a few layers of clear UTEE. Added lots of bling, which took awhile with the tiny gem stones, added some metal corners and ribbon to hang it on - quite like this one, not sure where to put it though!

Favourite 'Bellie' Swap

With this swap we had to use our favourite embellishment and make an ATC with it. I used a flourish matt board piece - I have bought tins of these shapes and alphabets, so I am glad to be finally using them up! Using clear UTEE, heated it and while it was hot, I carefully added small pieces of fantasy film using tweezers. Keeping the heat on the piece so that it remained molten, I sprinkled on more clear UTEE and heated it again. I decided to leave it 'bumpy' with bits of FF poking thru but you could always add another layer of UTEE if you wanted a smooth look. The background is distress inks on canvas paper and stamped with white StazOn ink and the wording was cut with my Slice machine from vellum that was coloured with alcohol ink. Hope their journey to Carol in the US make it in one piece!

Green - CCSwaps

I have signed up for another 6 for 5 ATC swap hosted by Fiona in the UK. I have been using Linda B's Brazen Black and Diving Gold embossing powders and I have to say that I am hooked! The black has tiny flecks of gold and the gold has tiny flecks of black in it - very cool indeed! I have used the gold on the Scrapmatts fleur de lis and the black on the flourish background stamp
