Stamp camp always proves to be a dilemma when it comes to packing - trying to find ways to reduce what I take without compromising to many items. My latest discoveries are these double DVD tins - they fit exactly 32 'Little Bitz Boxes' from
Christina's Crafts so now I can take lots of bellies to camp without them taking up to much room. To decorate the tin I used impasto and a flourish stencil from
Tattered Angels then sponged with various colours of Lumieres and highlighted with gilding wax. There was no preparation to the tin I just used a palette knife to apply the impasto directly to the tin. I learnt this technique from
Linda - you should check out her blog, lots of inspiring ideas.
Trish has started a new workshop and it's an alphabet journal - the first letter is 'N' - here is my attempt so far. I have used newspaper, navy, numbers, nude and some netting - I might come back to it later and add some more to it. The next letter is 'f' and I feel some flourishes coming on....
