More digital art

I really enjoy what you can do with digital art - my interest was sparked by Debbie Reid in the USA when she created a page in CBA for a recent swap we were in. Then more recently another friend Pauline showed me the basics using Photoshop - I still have so much to learn but it is so cool to create ART in a totally different way.

Masking - CCSwaps

Fiona in the UK is hosting a swap and all my fav overseas players have signed up - so I can't wait to see what I get back. My creation has Adirondack colour washes in butterscotch and wild plum which I sprayed over a matt board flourish - torn copper pieces that I ran thru my cuttlebug and highlighted with black Staz-on, mini micro beads over the top of my image and clear Glossy Accents over the 'desire' - hope the girls like this one! Thanks Fiona for hosting this swap it was fun to make.

Digital Art

I have finally worked out how to use Photoshop, so I have downloaded a heap of free images from the web - how much fun is this! I just love how you can easily resize, move, spin and change the images before printing it off. I really loved this piece so I decided to upload to my blog - now all I need is to find more cool images to download!!

Envelope Book Swap

I have signed up for this swap on CCSwaps and this one is going to 'Sweetpea'. I have finally used a piece of Grungeboard, YAY! There are micro-beads on the butterfly and my fav mesh ribbon down the RHS. Envelopes were made from a template and coloured with distress inks, stamped and highlighted with my white Sharpie. I hope Kathy likes it! It's a bit wonky because the envelopes are handmade they didn't quite line up - but isn't that what makes our ART unique!

Slice Design Cutter

With my new Slice machine came the offer to join a new Yahoo group called 'Slice Users Group' - how could I say no to another group! Rhonda started it up late last year and already they have over 220 members - well done Rhonda! They are running a 4" swap using any of the elements from the Slice Machine. On this one I used the Tab and Scallop corner - hope my swap partner likes it!
