This is my contribution for the Heart Swap that I am in - I love how the Scrapware chandelier fit perfectly on the wooden heart that I had in my stash - it only needed minimal trimming (Sorry Angela) hope my swap partner likes it....June 25, 2010

Mini Memory for Mel
Melissa's mini memory was any theme using blue and aqua. This one came together well because they are colours I like to use. The butterflies are actually wrapping paper and I layered them on top of some Scrapware

Mini Memory for Rhonda
Rhonda's theme was 'Children - cream, gold & white' - I love using UTEE and with the right stamps you can get an amazing depth. These are not colours I am confident using so again I struggled with starting this one. I was quite pleased with the end result and even got to use some mini-micro glass beads on the image - hope Rhonda likes it...

I also used some hessian sheets that I bought a while back (YAY) Can't wait to get all my pages so that I can admire the wonderful work created from so many talented artists across the world... Trizz

Mini Memory for Rena
Rena's theme was blue green with gold or silver in any theme. I loved making this one cause it used my favourite colours. I had made it long before it was due and it sat on my desk for quite some time. I found it hard to send her on I became very attached to this one. I know she went to a loving home...

Tall Canvas
This canvas is 8x4" using Scrapware products, embossing powders & starburst stains. I just love the ATC frame - its so delicate but easy to emboss. I am liking this canvas, I am deciding whether to keep it or give it away, Christmas is just around the corner - I wonder....
Minchie Frame
LBB has got us all working on some Scrapware goodies - which I must admit has been alot of fun! This frame is 3" (7.5cm) square, so yes the squares within are tiny 1.5cm! I made something similar at camp in September for my friend Margaret in the US which was also red, black, silver & butterflies - must be still into those colours!

A Mini Memory for Heather
September was Heather's turn for the Mini Memory swap on DCI. Her request was birds/butterflies in violet with a white colourwash. The background on the canvas was a metallic paint that was painted on thickly and heated. I used a microscope slide which was stamped and embossed with white EP - painted the back of the slide with purple acrylic. The wings were made with Grungeboard. The wire butterfly was added along with ribbon and of course some more diamontes...

Scratch Board
I coloured the Scratch Board with Alcohol Inks - stamped my fav stamp with black StazOn - then added a few layers of clear UTEE to both pieces. Added diamontes, metal sprials, beaded trim and a photo-turn to hang the piece. I hope she likes this one and I really hope that it all stays stuck together!! I used so much glue to hold the spirals on in the centre, I had it oozing everywhere!!
2" Canvas
On this mini canvas I have used, Style Stones, UTEE & Fantasy Film. The background on the canvas was sprayed with Memories Mist and Adirondack Color Wash. Style Stone frame was coloured with Chalk inkpads. The centre piece has been filled with re-used UTEE, melted, then some fantasy film with a layer of clear UTEE over the top. Hope my friend likes this one and I really hope it survives the journey there - fingers crossed!!
Butterfly Inchie Frame
Made this one at camp - I really like how it turned out, hope my friend likes it too! I am starting to finally use my mattboard embellishments, even the bigger ones which I am just cutting up and using parts of - these frames are so much fun, thanks Linda !!Texture ATC
The background is Faux Washi Paper by Trish Bee - had so much fun making these backgrounds, very messy, but I am glad I am using them now in projects. I have sprinkled UTEE onto the ATC and heated it, very carefully - whilst hot stamped into it. Let it cool then rubbed silver gilding wax over the raised areas. I made these originally for a swap on CCSwaps then made more to give out at camp earlier this month.

Mini Memory for Carol
Using the reverse of a canvas - this is what I made for Carol in Victoria - thought the feather added a cool touch. Her theme was Bird house/birds in white, mint green and pale mauve. Hope she liked it...

Scrapware
These were so much fun to play with! Scrapware have some great designs and lots of bits and pieces to add. What I really like is how you can use some of those beautiful handmade papers that we all have and lots of bellies - hanging from the bottom are some paperclip bellies I bought ages ago and have finally used them - YAY! Gotta say thanks to Linda B for the inspiration - again!
